Sorry!

Oh my GOODNESS it's been a while!!! A lot has been on my plate these last few weeks (traveling, setting up my new shop, lack of wireless internet, etc) and to top it off, I couldn't find my camera for a week... I swear I WILL get better at keeping track of my electronic possessions! Anyway, here are a few pictures from the last few weeks. Enjoy. <3

This morning I got up WAY too early (7:30 haha) to go to garage sales with my mom. I had forgotten how much I used to love getting up and hunting for bargains. I can't wait to post pictures of some of the things I found.

Celebration time

So, as promised, here are a few pictures from the 4th. Every year, my neighborhood does a big parade (which luckily starts right in front of my house) where everyone dresses up and decorates their cars, bikes, wagons, golf carts, etc. and then the precession makes its way through the neighborhood to the park for free hot dogs and watermelon. This year I didn't bike to the park since it was REALLY hot and I saw no gain for me, as there were no veggie dogs available, but I still dressed up and took pictures. :)

With all the fun festivities in the air (literally) this will be a quick post since I'd like to watch some X-Files before bed, but I would just like to say Happy 4th of July to everyone while it's still the 4th. ;) I'll add some pictures from today's excitement tomorrow. :)

 to do with watching the old BBC series of The Chronicles of Narnia as a child.

Just another day

After a LONG wait at school yesterday to get registered for next semester's classes, I rewarded myself with a dip in the pool. My boyfriend's mom recently redid their backyard (pool included) and I think she did a pretty fabulous job. :)

Today I thought I'd give you a quick peak into my bathroom where I have quite a few of my precious treasures on display. I hope you enjoy. :)

I collect glass jars to put my little collections in. These babies are 

all waiting to be filled. (Excuse the dust, haha.)

 A white toad I've had since my childhood next to a brightly colored mushroom

 my mom bought for me. And on top of my candles is a happy little hippo 

that Dylan found in the street.
